7 day Guizhou Miao and Dong villages route
Guiyang -> Huangguoshu -> Kaili / Miao villages -> Zhaoxing -> Guiyang
The mainstream village-led Guizhou route, balancing Huangguoshu, Kaili-side Miao culture, Zhaoxing Dong village, and road time.

Day by day, matched to the route family.
The route below keeps the conversion promise clear. Confirm gateway timing, realistic transfers, comfort level, and which optional extension truly belongs before the route is fixed.
Arrive in Guiyang and keep the first evening simple around the hotel, Jiaxiu Tower, or local food. Use the night to recover and confirm the road start.
Protect the Huangguoshu or Anshun-side waterfall day. Decide Tianxing Bridge and Doupotang by walking comfort, rain, and crowds; choose Guiyang or Anshun overnight by the next transfer, not only by hotel price.
Move toward Kaili and choose the Miao village layer by traveler style: Langde, Xijiang, Matang, or a quieter village. Arrive early enough for an unhurried evening, not just a photo stop.
Build the Kaili-area day around market dates, festival calendar, batik, silver, embroidery, or village walking. One or two strong stops are better than chasing every village name.
Transfer toward Zhaoxing Dong village and protect time for wind-rain bridges, drum towers, evening lights, and slower lanes. If using Congjiang rail, plan luggage and station transfers carefully.
Use Zhaoxing and Tang'an for village life, terraces, short hikes, or viewpoints by weather and fitness. If the group is tired, stay slower inside Zhaoxing and move less.
Return to Guiyang or depart with a clean transfer. Add no distant village stop unless the flight is late and the driver or rail plan is already stable.
