The route below keeps the Chengdu + Chongqing spine clear. Confirm Panda Base timing, high-speed rail, night-view windows, walking comfort, and whether Wulong or Leshan truly belongs in the plan.
Arrive in Chengdu - Airport pickup and hotel check-in. If arrival timing is gentle, use Jinli or Kuanzhai Alley for a light food-led first evening. No formal sightseeing today.
Chengdu pandas and teahouse - Start early at Chengdu Panda Base, then People’s Park / Heming Teahouse. Add Wuhou Shrine, Jinli, or a relaxed hotpot dinner only if the group still has energy.
Chengdu to Chongqing - Keep the morning soft if needed, then take the high-speed train to Chongqing. After hotel check-in, use Jiefangbei and Hongyadong as the first night-view chapter.
Chongqing 8D city day - Yangtze River Cableway, Liziba monorail, Kuixinglou or Eling Second Factory, then hotpot and Qiansimen / Hongyadong night view. This is the city-depth day.
Chongqing departure - If the flight is late, add Ciqikou or Eighteen Steps only. Do not add Wulong, Leshan, or another full excursion on this soft version.
